Biographical sketch and research interests

I’m a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Political Science at UC Riverside. My research addresses questions in American politics and the politics of race, ethnicity, and immigration with a focus on immigrant incorporation in the U.S. My dissertation examines how interactions with street-level bureaucrats impact immigrants’ political attitudes and behaviors in the host country. Using a mixed-method approach, I highlight the role of public services provided by street-level bureaucrats in immigrant political incorporation.
